The "VIP" Club was created to encourage
old HHC members plus family and friends of current players to become
active Supporters of the Havering Hockey Club, both financially
and socially.
We started off with a few ex-players meeting up at the clubhouse
for a drink and this developed into a series of events, resulted in the VIPs taking over
one complete pod on the London Eye for a night flight, then on to
the Sherlock Holmes pub for drinks. This experience was so well
received that next year we will be taking a daytime flight and adding
a river trip.
Due to the excellent response from the membership, the VIP club
was able to give financial support to the HHC's appeal for funds
towards the new astro pitch project. It is hoped that next season
we will welcome even more members which will result in a larger
range of social events plus the ability to provide more funds to
the HHC where required.
To join the VIP Supporters Club, just pick up a form from the Clubhouse
from September 1st. Current members can send cheques to me as last
year. Our aim is to raise as much money as we can AND enjoy ourselves
at the same time. Just £4 per month will make you a VIP.
